Bringing Energy Awareness Into Your Life

Posted in Self Improvement on December 20th, 2009 and tagged , ,

When you decide to go to Bali for your holiday, knowing it’ll be warm there probably influences your choice… you probably decide to go because you believe you’ll have a good time. What you choose to eat is because your senses tell you the food tastes good… or you believe it’s good for you. But when you “sense” that you shouldn’t, medicine
, walk down a dark alley, it’s your intuition or gut feeling.

So, between, medicine
, your knowledge, beliefs, senses and intuition you should be pretty much prepared for anything.

But, of course, we aren’t. Our lives present us with all sorts of unexpected challenges – difficult people, accidents, illnesses, where to live, what career to pick and relationship problems.

The reason we are so unprepared is we can’t see the, medicine
, energy of what we do or are about to do. What you do always reflects a flow of energy – commonly called chi or qi – through your body each time you do something. For example, you might decide to eat a certain food, take a certain medicine, buy a certain car, wear a certain ring or go to Bali… every time you make a choice like these – in fact about anything at all – your qi changes. And that change affects you and your life now and in the future.

On the one hand, your energy is changing all the time. On the other, you don’t notice most of these changes and the few that are noticed, like the gut feeling about not walking down the dark alley, may be because of nervousness or some other form of stress rather than a real awareness of what you need to do.

Your Energy Precedes every one of Your Experiences

Intuition is sometimes called the “edge of awareness” because it touches upon the energy of whatever is going on. However, it isn’t the same as real energy awareness that is as concrete an experience as when you feel the rain on your face, medicine
, or see the sun in the sky. Energy awareness is a great step into the unknown where the unseen world of energy is as real as anything you sense or know. The world of energy underlies every experience, state or circumstance.

Your qi precedes, or maintains, every experience and every circumstance in your life: the car that almost hit you last week (security qi), your problems with a lover (partnership qi), your difficulties at work (work qi) or your lack of energy (health qi). Anything you care to name in your life reflects the state of your energy in that area of your life.

Our problems are consequences of our energy deficiencies, our sucesses reflections of our energy flowing. But, unfortunately, most of us aren’t aware of our energies. You may not be aware,, medicine
, for example, that the helpful medicine from the doctor is leading to a problem in twenty years time, that a tree in your garden is damaging your relationships, that a ring on your finger is weakening the energy in you that keeps you safe – or increases your wealth qi.

It’s all a mystery. Life just seems to happen – however it happens – for better or for worse. And we try, to the best of our ability, to explain it to ourselves or we ask someone else to explain it to us. But the mystery – or is it irony? – of life is that without developing your own awareness of your energies you simply cannot know why something is happening.

Awakening Your Energy Awareness

The awakening of your energy awareness depends upon the strength of an energy called your intent – not to be confused with the currently popular concept of “intending” something to happen. This energy, contained in your upper abdomen,, medicine
, causes your awareness to ascend. The more your awareness ascends, the more you experience body energy awareness, environmental energy and, finally, spirit energy awareness.

By living with intent your awareness can achieve new heights, medicine
, . Why would you want to raise your awareness? Because it’s the only way to become free of the repetitive challenges that appear in all our lives – whether they are in the area of our wealth, health, work, relationships, etc. Living a “normal” life generates or maintains the problems that inevitably result from a lack of awareness of the energetic, medicine
, consequences of our daily choices.

Cultivating your energy awareness steadily brings new solutions into your life and consciousness that otherwise, inevitably, remain unknown. Sometimes, these solutions can be quite unusual – like curing a case of arthritis by creating a wire model that made the stress causing the arthritis to drain out of the affected joints! For people without energy awareness, such novel solutions to common problems sound absurd. But the more you choose to cultivate your own energy awareness, the more you see how all kinds of difficulties can be resolved through simple, yet extraordinary, methods.

Anyone can, medicine
, develop their own energy awareness. It doesn’t require some peculiar, preexisting talent. We all have basically the same energy body which can be strengthened in ways that lead to almost “magical” results in your life – ways that generate more wisdom,, medicine
, inner strength, happiness, medicine
, and success. But it isn’t about spending time and energy chasing the results you want; living with intent automatically generates the changes that you need in your life, in a natural sequence.

Although energy awareness is possible for everyone, it’s only practiced by a few: those who already have enough awareness to recognize its potentially extraordinary benefits. So it is one of life’s ironies that the faculty – to perceive the consequences of your choices and actions even before committing them – most needed by everyone, is the faculty that is most ignored . . .

“I would have done something entirely different if I had not followed my awareness, but I did, and sat there and gritted my teeth and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made!” Robin T, UK

Got Clutter? Do the Spring Fling!

Posted in Self Improvement on December 5th, 2009 and tagged , ,

Spring marks the transition from winter into summer. It is a time that most of us equate with renewal, increasing day length, and a symbolic changing of the seasons. Spring is seen as a time of growth, when new life (both, home medicine, plant and animal) are born. The term is also used more generally as a metaphor for, home medicine, the start of better times. For many, it is also a time for cleaning and organizing – i.e., the Spring Fling!

During the winter, we tend to stockpile. It is in our nature. Chances are you’ve got some clutter left over at work, at home, in your car, on your computer, and in your head. This is an ideal time to do some eliminating. The old adage, “Out with the old, in with the new” definitely applies this season. To help you with your Spring Fling, the following are some tips for clearing the clutter.

Purge Your Paper Inbox – When is the last time you’ve seen the bottom of your paper inbox at work and at home? Make it a goal this spring. Develop a paper management system to try to keep it that way.
Eliminate Email Clutter – Schedule some time to clear your email inbox. Delete unnecessary emails, capture contact information, delegate tasks that can be done by someone else, send those “replies” finally, and set up filters and folders to avoid back-log in the future. Once you get your email inbox down to one page (where you can see all emails without having to scroll down), try to maintain it.
Go on a Calendar Diet – Take a look at your busy calendar and try to clear 2-3 social or work obligations that you said “yes” to that you now realize you should not have. We all do it (yes, even the professional organizer/time management expert!). Time is limited and precious, so think carefully about what you want to fill it with.
Switch Clothes – If you have not already done so, this is the perfect time to switch your clothes from the cold weather items to the warm weather ones. Make 4 categories: 1) Purge (damaged clothes), 2) Donate (clothes that do not fit, you do not like, or that are out of style, but can be worn by those in need), 3) Keep (clothes that fit, that you love and wear often) 4) Dry Cleaning/Tailoring (clothes that need to be professionally dry cleaned or mended).
Retire the Christmas Decorations – You think I am kidding on this one. I am not. You know who you are. If the Christmas decorations are still up outside or inside your home, it is high time you put them away. Go do it, now. Your neighbors will thank you.
Take Care of Your Taxes – Yes, the official tax-filing deadline for personal income taxes is April 15th. However, many people take an extension, which means they will be filing this summer. Stop procrastinating! Gather the documents to get those taxes done. And for those of, home medicine, you that already filed, purge old tax records that no longer need to be saved (check with your accountant, but generally, the average person needs to maintain, home medicine, 7 years of tax records in case of an audit claiming fraud). Don’t forget to shred!
Declutter the Car – You will be passing many car washes held by various charities this time of year. You’d like to get your car cleaned, but you don’t want anyone to see the inside! Sound familiar? Clear that car clutter. Empty out the garbage that has accumulated, bring in items that you purchased that are sitting in bags in the trunk, and return all sorts of “stuff” to its place in the home or office that found its way into your car. Ah, now go get that car wash or, better yet, treat yourself to a full car detailing.
Organize Outlying Areas – Clear clutter in the garage and shed so that you can find the things you need this spring and summer. Take out the patio furniture and grill, dust off the bikes, and put away the snow, home medicine, blower. If you can’t reach the lawnmower, chances are you will not use it as much. You may have put the Christmas decorations away, but with that jungle you call a yard, your neighbors will still not like you very much.
Mend the Medicine Cabinet – Clear out any winter medications that you stockpiled, such as cough medicine and cough drops that have expired. Ditto for prescription medications that have expired. Buy yourself some new sunscreen, as that also has a limited shelf life.
Makeup Makeover – Makeup attracts bacteria. Therefore, purge any makeup that is “old.” While there is no exact life span for makeup, if you haven’t used it in a year, it is time to go. For more exacting makeup safety guidelines, visit http://tinyurl.com/punhg9.
Overhaul Your Toothbrush – You should replace your toothbrush every 3 months. Period. Get a new one. It feels great! There you have it — the Spring Fling checklist. Take your time, and work through it. I guarantee you will feel a sense of renewal, while clearing the way for a productive and pleasant summer season.

Re-Writing Your Story

Posted in Self Improvement on November 27th, 2009 and tagged , ,

I’ve been listening to the Abraham-Hicks’s ‘Money and the Law of Attraction’ CDs. One of the significant threads of advice is ’start telling a new story’.

We create our lives from the stories we tell about past, future, and present events. The stories evoke emotion – a vibrational beacon – that draws the essence of whatever we are focusing to us.

So in real terms, it goes something like this:

hen someone asks me, ‘how is the IVF stuff going?’ and I answer, ‘It sucks. There has been delay after delay, stuff up after stuff up, nothing has happened all year, we’ve wasted a whole year in this process, and I’m turning 40 next year – my time is nearly up.’ Well, you can see where this is heading!

The story I am telling about, new medicine
, IVF is bringing more of the same to me – more delays, more frustration, more disappointment.

So how do I crack this vicious cycle?

First, it’s about addressing the underlying stories. It’s about challenging your intentions. What do I really want? Do I really want to be a mum? What’s holding me, new medicine
, back and throwing up these negative stories? A quick assessment reveals that I am really nervous about motherhood. Am I ready? What will I need to give up? Do I really want the sleepless nights, the worry, the messy diapers?

These are all fantasies about the worst case scenarios of course – stories I tell about what might happen.

So far I’m telling stories of frustration about what is happening, and stories of doom about what might happen. And none of it feels good – which is a clear sign I am out of alignment with what I really want.

Everything you really want always feels delicious and fabulous.

The only way to get what you really want is to get in alignment with it, vibrationally speaking. And the best way to do that is start telling new stories.

Let’s try again…

‘How is the IVF stuff going?’

‘Thing are progressing. It’s amazing what science can do – science and medicine has saved my life on more than one occasion. I am extremely fortunate to have this chance at having babies after my cancer experience. In the meantime I am really enjoying my job and having a great time with my husband. I am feeling hopeful and positive about our chances with so much support around us. The human body is really an amazing thing – my body has been a remarkable companion to me these 39 years. I am letting the universe arrange things for us. It’s all good.’

Boy that feels good! It’s a letting go of expectations and timings and even worry – letting the universe handle all that. I really feel things are in train and that every thing is for my highest good.

Now your turn!

What, new medicine
, stories are you hanging on to? Is your mate a ’stubborn so-and-so’? Is your job a ‘dead end’? Was your childhood a ‘disaster’?

Sometimes we tell stories like these because it evokes a sense of righteousness or purpose. This is linked to the dynamics of the Drama Triangle. When we tell the story of us as victim (like how I keep repeating that the medical system is full of bumbling idiots and I am suffering for it), then we let go of our sense of responsibility in creating the outcomes.

That sense of powerlessness is an abdication of responsibility that does not serve us, and only brings more unwanted to us.

Telling a new story where we look for positive aspects of a situation of a person or event takes us out of the drama triangle and back on track to creating what we really desire.

Here’s a big tip for you: If the story you are telling feels bad – stop. Start telling a new story that breathes possibilities, new medicine
, and appreciation. You’ll feel relief automatically.

It’s in this way you can re-write your own past. Not ignore or pretend events did or did not happen, but you can change your interpretation of them so they feel good, and thus you are empowered.

The say history is written is written by the victors – it’s time you were the champion in your own life!

Pain Or Pleasure – Which Drives Your Life?

Posted in Self Improvement on November 9th, 2009 and tagged , ,

Pain or Pleasure, which motivates the choices, medicine online
, you make? I like living life to the fullest, so exploring both has been important in understanding what brings me the most joy. Although you would probably not select pain as your preferred driving force in life, fear often motivates our choices and achievements. Are you in crisis mode, feeling stressed and frustrated? Regain your power and increase your pleasure with these 3 simple steps.

Step 1: Determine Your Motivating Factor

What is Your Motivating Factor??
Asking yourself these 3 simple questions, medicine online
, will help you understand if the choices you are making are motivated by fear or pleasure?

1. Do you get joy from what you are doing? It’s easy to get caught up in all the activities we have to do each day, but ask yourself how it values your life to be doing it. If you can’t answer the question, write this, medicine online
, task on a list.

2. Why are you doing this? Are you stuck in a routine or are you excited to participate? Many people feel they have no choice to how their life is running and see no way out. Each day is a boring routine of all they have to do, making them feel drained and frustrated.

3. What emotion is driving you? Often we will come from guilt, need, loneliness, fear and other negative emotions when doing a task. Making dinner for your husband can come from love, but if you feel obligated, resentful or have to do it so he doesn’t get upset, you are creating internal stress and pain by continuing, medicine online
, to make dinner.

Step 2: Change Your Mindset

1. Act from Pleasure
I find that people are pushing themselves so hard right now. This internal pressure to accomplish paired with a long list of responsibilities are leading to great stress and pain in the body. If you were running and began to hurt, you would stop. Yet in our life when the stress comes, often we will block it out and keep going. While there is some value to accomplishing in this manner, I would like you to consider acting from pleasure rather than pain, medicine online
, . Any task can be completed in multiple ways, consider how you can blend pleasure into the work. Listen to music to boost your spirit, mop the floor with your socks and have a potluck dinner with friends so you don’t have to cook so much.

If you were running and began to hurt, you would stop.

2. Being vs. Doing
Coming from the corporate world, I learned that I was important based on how much I could accomplish in a day. After my layoff, I wrote a list of all the activities I was finally going to catch up on. Six months later, the items that seemed so important were still on my list. God had different plans for me and used this quiet time to awaken my intuition. As I tuned into my deeper desires I realized I wanted to help people and left the corporate world for holistic medicine. I learned the importance of being quiet, listening for internal guidance: “Being” rather than “Doing”. In this place I was able to accomplish what was most meaningful to me, have more joy in life and help many people.

Stop the routine to find you.

3. Change Perception
Often we get caught up in the routine of life, feeling overwhelmed with all we have to accomplish. If you were to die tomorrow would all the items be important?

I have a client who stressed about clearing boxes from her house for over 1 year. Each day she would worry about how long it would take her to do the project. Her husband was upset that the boxes filled the room, yet every day she was too busy to clean these. She felt the items in the box were too valuable to throw away, no one else could help her sort through it and so the stress continued. Today it occurred to her that the items in the box couldn’t be that valuable, since she hadn’t needed any of it over the past year. Suddenly this project went from extreme stress to ease. Nothing in the box changed, it was simply her perception that shifted. By looking at your tasks from new perspectives it is possible to reduce your stress, find new solutions and bring more joy to a situation.

Are you spending more time stressing about a project than it takes to complete it? Check your perception.

4. Outsource
Focusing, medicine online
, on what brings you pleasure, it is possible to increase your productivity. When you are drained and frustrated you will not be working at your optimal pace. More can be accomplished by outsourcing the activities you don’t enjoy and focusing on what you are passionate about. Consider hiring an outsourcing expert online such as elance.com, Many projects can be completed for under $100 by a professional, saving you time with better results. You may also consider switching chores with your spouse or a friend. My husband loved cooking and grocery shopping and I enjoyed, medicine online
, gardening. He made dinners and I mowed the lawn.
Be Productive where you are Passionate.

5. Be Selfish
Do you feel guilty being selfish and asking for what you want? Do you put other people’s needs ahead of your own? Why? You are the only one who knows how to truly give yourself pleasure. Think of a child that wants a toy. They fall in love, want it with all their heart and will do everything possible to fulfill their needs, including tantrums and pleading. Quickly we learn that we will be punished and separated if we can’t behave. This fear gets programmed deep inside to the extreme that people are afraid to ask for what they desire and are confused to what is appropriate. Practice being Selfish. People want to make you happy and will appreciate knowing what you like rather than having to guess. Chances are even at your extreme you will not be self-centered.

You are the only one who knows how to truly give yourself pleasure.

For years I was content going to any restaurant my friends wanted. I didn’t care if I ate Chinese or Italian food, I would find something on the menu that would be fine. Then I watched the Runaway Bride movie with Julia Roberts. With each man she would meet she would eat different types of eggs. She was challenged to choose what was her favorite? Scrambled, Poached, Fried? This made a big impact on me, realizing that I didn’t know what I truly liked. I had changed myself based on the people in my life too. I set out on a journey of self-discovery, allowing myself to try new things, question what I may have denied myself previously or believed I didn’t like. It can be fun to explore new cuisine, activities, and cultures. Forget what you “know”, blindfold yourself if necessary, and discover the world in a pleasant new way. Finding out what you like is the first step, asking for what you need is the second.

Finding out what you like is the first step to fulfillment
asking for what you need is the second.

Step 3: Make Changes

1. Pain to Pleasure
Look at the list of your Motivational Factors. Choose 1 task that is done from pain and determine if you can apply any of the suggestions from Step 2 to shift to pleasure. If you need help seeing other possibilities, ask a friend, family member or contact Jeanne@LiveBeyondEcstasy.com for a free consultation.

2. Know Thyself
Choose an item below. Begin surrounding yourself with these pleasures. It will increase your joy and give you permission to fulfill your needs. For added enjoyment, ask your friends and family to do the same and compare lists. If money is tight, share an imagined experience describing details to each other, look at brochures, be creative and share a vacation in your home.
• Make a list of what would make you happy.
• Think of several activities you would enjoy doing.
• What food do you love to taste?
• What sounds would you like to hear?
• How would you like to be touched? Spoken to?
• Quiet your mind, relax, and take a moment for you.

3. Practice Being Selfish
Practice being selfish, asking for what you need. Push the limits a bit, so you can feel the internal guilt or ridicule from others. It’s good to explore these emotions so you don’t let it limit your expression in life.
• Practice asking for 1 thing that you would like today.
• Choose the restaurant, medicine online
, and order whatever you want (even if you have to pay for it)
• Feed yourself before your kids and savor each bite.
• Stand in a doorway and let people open it for you.
• Cut in line or traffic to see how it feels.
• Point to the places you would like to be touched and enjoy. Don’t reciprocate for 10 minutes.
• Come up with your own list of what being selfish is to you, then try a few.

Hypnosis – What’s it All About?

Posted in Self Improvement on November 8th, 2009 and tagged , ,

Hypnosis is a profound state in which we have access to the unconscious mind.

But why would you want to have access to your unconscious mind?

Why would it be of value?

Well, if you were consciously in control to let go of an issue you would- wouldn’t you? Of course you would, if you could I’m sure you would let, medicine
, go of it in a heartbeat.

But there are some things which may be beyond our control, such as overwhelming negative emotions, limiting beliefs such as ‘I’m not good enough’ or unwanted behaviors which, no matter how hard we try, seem to be unmovable, medicine
, . That’s because they are being run at the unconscious, medicine
, level.

Why would our own body run things which seem negative, limiting and in some cases are downright stupid?

Well, no matter how horrible an issue is, there is always a positive intent. For example, a phobia is trying to protect someone, but it’s just doing it in an overwhelming way. Some issues may have been imprinted on us since our childhood, such as beliefs about ourselves. If we go through negative childhood experiences, maybe feeling we weren’t good enough, or if we were continually told that that we were stupid, our unconscious mind may just take those beliefs on as the truth. So although issues or behaviors you have may not be very nice, they will always, always, always have a positive intent. I promise. (Did I stress that enough?)

However, what if I told you there was a key to unlock your true potential and take back the control of your issues so that you could live the life you wish, being free of limitations?

And not only that, keep the positive intentions but generate new positive beliefs, feelings and behaviors which are in alignment with you consciously.

With that key what would you change?

Well Hypnosis to me seems to be the key, as it bypasses our conscious mind to work directly with our unconscious mind, the area of the brain which runs the issues. However, I think Hypnosis has been overlooked in the sense that we use it to only concentrate on letting go of things (i.e. let go of weight, let go of smoking, let go of phobias) the list is endless. But wait, lets flip that for a moment and think what could we evolve, grow or enhance too – maybe our learning abilities,, medicine
, our hobbies, confidence, even our communication to levels that are beyond excellence.

Utilizing hypnosis we are able to change your mind, therefore your results.

Hypnosis has been around for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians had the Temples of Sleep, and the Greeks their Shrines of Healing – both places where patients were given curative suggestion while in an induced sleep.

They all had the common important element, which was creating, medicine
, a “suggestion” that the patient’s conscious and subconscious mind, would “accept”,, medicine
, thus utilizing the patients “power of belief”. Believing that they were being healed, this alone would put their own mind power to work, healing them.

In the Indian Book of “Law of Manu” was the ancient Sanskrit Science, medicine
, of the Indian people, which has writings of Hypnosis and the different levels of consciousness graduation “The Sleep – Waking State,” “The Dream -Sleep,” and the “Ecstasy – Sleep State.

So we’re not dealing with a new science here- we’re dealing with an ancient form of healing which has stood the test of time, and further. To this present day Hypnosis is being used in the medical industry as a form of complimentary medicine. For example, hypnosis can be used as an alternative to anesthetics in the cases of anesthetic allergies or operations where anesthetics are unable to be used.

The wonderful thing about hypnosis is that also, you’re not asleep, in fact it may not feel any different from your waking state, yet through my CD’s we can imprint your unconscious mind with empowering suggestions that give you all the strong beliefs, resources and behaviors you need to be the real you.

I am so passionate about hypnosis that I want to help as many, medicine
, people as possible. That’s exactly why I have produced these CDs. I also run seminars and write about hypnosis. It’s truly changed my life- from being an un-confident young boy, to the real me, who has the confidence and competence to grow in all areas of life.

I wonder what you will discover?
